Well as Spring is visibly on its way into North Texas, I thought that I would give everyone an update on how things are developing with Green Phoenix Farms. We have been working hard in the background trying to line up suppliers and sources for all of the important components and such that make aquaponic systems work. We are going to be expanding our product lines significantly in the next few months, but right now we wanted to let everyone know that we have the following items in stock (and plan to have them there):
IBC totes (275 gallons): We now have a VERY dependable supplier for these who is local to the DFW area. These are guaranteed to be food-grade and have been professionally cleaned (including sterilized with 160+ degree water). They are available for pick-up seven days a week and delivery can be arranged for a small fee. There will be a flat price of $100 per tote. (If you buy 4 or more, I can discount the price.)
Blue Barrels (55 gallon) — Open Top and with 2″ holes: $20 each,
Uniseals: We currently have 1″, 1.5″, 2″ and 3″ in stock. We will order other sizes as the need arises and keep them in stock from that point on. Individual prices will be posted soon.
Kits: This is the part that we are the most excited about and we will be posting a great deal about this in the next few weeks. We have been working on Autosiphon Kits, Swirl Filter kits and more for the small scale. On the larger scale we are going to be making available soon full size system kits — these will be ready to go from purchase after minimal assembly and installation. **Come to the Southlake GreenFest this Saturday to see our first system for yourself!
