*** EDIT: Just an FYI — we used an old price sheet when we first totaled up the prices. The actual material cost is a little under $700, not $400. Even though the cost is more than we originally said — this is still a great price for a large greenhouse structure. We are very sorry for all of the confusion that this error on our part has caused.***

How would you like to learn how to build your own Greenhouse? What about learning how to build a 2,000 square foot Greenhouse Frame for less than $700 in materials?!?!?!?!

Postcard1aIf you said, “YES” — then you should plan to join us for the afternoon on April 11th. From 12pm to 4pm, we will not only show you exactly what you need to do in order to build a 20′ wide x 100′ long Greenhouse Frame, but you will get to work hands-on to learn how to build the hoop-bender and all of the individual pieces of the frame. We will provide a FREE lunch (Hamburgers) for everyone who comes (Please leave a comment below so we know how much food to prepare.) You will receive a complete materials listing of everything that you will need for the project. This list will even have all of the specific product SKU numbers for Home Depot. (You could hand the Pro Desk this list, and they could pull all the materials for you!)

We are going to be hosting our monthly Aquaponic Community Gathering that morning from 9-11am. Please come out and meet a whole bunch of people who are interested in Aquaponics from all across the DFW area (and further across N. TX.) Then stay with us for lunch and the Greenhouse Frame Build class – which will be only $35 per person! The address for our shop is: 2214 FM 1187 #9-104, Mansfield, TX 76063. To find us, the easiest way is to head West on FM 1187 from Mansfield, just before the railroad tracks you will see the “Alpine Industrial Park” on your right (big red sign, with ours hanging). We are the 3rd building on the left, across from C&S Air. Look for the big green Fish Tank at the end of the building. **Remember, please comment below with the number of people coming with you so we can plan lunch accordingly! **

So why are we holding this class? Well, Green Phoenix Farms is moving, we recently bought 1.8 acres of land, and we are going to be setting up a full scale commercial production Aquaponic facility. This will be inside several greenhouses (using this design) on the new property. We have been looking at designs from various different companies for several years now, and comparing the and designs for greenhouses…. We have to say, after all this searching, THIS is the simplest design, it will work really well here in N. Texas, AND it is supremely affordable!

So come on out, we will provide lunch before the class, and you will also get a complete material list (with SKUs for Home Depot). In addition, you are welcome to take as many pictures as you would like of the entire build.20140715_184244
